    [FAIE] Necessary Skills and Knowledge for Students When Participating in Internships at Enterprises

    To connect with enterprises and create conditions for students to develop creative thinking in practical training as well as to cultivate soft skills that meet the requirements of professional tasks and specific work at host agencies, units, and enterprises where internships are conducted.

    The Business Administration Club successfully organized a discussion session with the theme “Necessary Skills and Knowledge for Students When Participating in Internships at Enterprises.” The discussion session took place on 4 April 2024, at the Orchids Hall (3rd Floor), The Mira Central Park Hotel, and drew enthusiastic participation from many enterprises, lecturers, and

    students.

    The discussion session helped students gain a clearer understanding of the essential knowledge and skills needed during the internship process at enterprises — the necessary tools to succeed in this important stage, from applying theoretical knowledge to practical work to developing professional skills. Through this session, the Faculty of International Business & Economics hopes to build bridges that open internship opportunities and successful career journeys for the Faculty’s students.

    Speaker Mr. Nguyen Duc Huy – Business Support Officer, Bao Viet Life Insurance Company, Dong Nai Branch guided students on workplace demeanor, approaches to practical tasks in enterprises, introduced internship positions, and explained requirements for interns at the company.

    Speaker Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thuan – Director of Dong Nai Province Post Office introduced information about the enterprise, internship positions, and the company’s requirements for interns.

    Speaker Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Director of HD Bank – Dong Nai Branch introduced information about HD Bank, internship positions, and the bank’s requirements for interns.

    Speaker Mr. Nguyen Van Ry – Consultant, Legal Advisory Center – Bien Hoa Branch shared knowledge about internships, such as what enterprises expect students to prepare for — both while still in school and during internships — and what skills and knowledge students need to prepare for when joining an enterprise in a full-time capacity.

    Speaker Mr. Than Thanh Van – Tour Operations Officer at Tri An Adventure Travel Company shared about knowledge needed for internship participation and the skills interns should prepare when entering the workforce beyond the enterprise.

    The active participation of lecturers and students in this event created a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere. Students had the opportunity to exchange, discuss, and deepen their understanding of the necessary skills and knowledge when participating in internships at enterprises.

    The Organizing Committee sincerely thanks the speakers for their valuable sharing, bringing useful experience to this sharing session. The participation and contributions of everyone made this discussion session successful and memorable.
