On the afternoon of January 15, 2026, Lac Hong University (LHU) organized a program titled “Meeting with the New Generation Students 2025 team” at Auditorium A301, Campus 1, to recognize the LHU BorderWave team for their participation and efforts in representing the University in a national-level academic competition.

Attending the program on behalf of LHU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector; MSc. Van Dinh Vy Phuong – Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, along with faculty representatives and a large number of LHU students. Guests included Mr. Phan Lac Long – Deputy Head of Entertainment Program Production, Vietnam Television (VTV), and Ms. Do Hai Tran – Marketing Director of Herbalife Vietnam.

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh acknowledged the proactive and creative spirit of the LHU BorderWave team throughout their research process and participation in the New Generation Students 2025 competition. LHU students' participation in a national-level academic arena demonstrates the effectiveness of LHU’s practice-oriented training approach, which encourages students to take initiative and challenge themselves.

At the event, the LHU BorderWave team shared their journey with the project “Border Wave,” advancing through 4 out of 5 official rounds and winning a Consolation prize at the national level. From the university-level selection round and idea stage performance, to the 48-hour project implementation in multiple localities and the “Comeback” round, the team gained valuable experience in teamwork, academic debate, and adaptability in a high-pressure competitive environment.

As part of the program, a representative of Vietnam Television presented participation certificates of the New Generation Students 2025 competition to the LHU BorderWave team. On this occasion, LHU also expressed its appreciation to Vietnam Television for accompanying the University in spreading educational and creative values among students.
The program concluded in an open and engaging atmosphere, contributing to motivating LHU students to continue participating in academic competitions, scientific research, and creative activities in the time ahead.
