On the morning of December 10, 2025, representatives of LHU and the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics officially received two motorcycles donated by Vietnam Suzuki Co., Ltd. for use in practical training for students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology. The two vehicles are valued at VND 100 million. This initiative demonstrates the strong cooperative relationship between LHU and Suzuki and underscores the University’s commitment to integrating advanced technologies into teaching, expanding hands-on learning experiences, and strengthening students’ professional competencies.

The two donated motorcycles will serve as essential learning tools, directly addressing the practical training needs of students in technical disciplines. Working with real equipment enables students to strengthen their practical skills and experimental capabilities. Beyond its material contribution, the equipment plays a significant role in the University’s training strategy that closely connects the university, industry, and students.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh emphasized that industry support enriches teaching approaches while empowering students to broaden their career perspectives, build confidence, and proactively engage with enterprises even while still at university.

LHU and Suzuki signed a MoU in March 2021. Over the years, the two sides have implemented numerous meaningful activities for LHU students, including technology seminars, professional workshops, company visits, hands-on industry experiences, and coordinated recruitment programs. These initiatives have enabled students to access new technologies, broaden their professional outlook, and actively develop specialized skills.

Dr. Pham Van Toan, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, stated that the donated equipment will be put into use starting from the upcoming semester, directly supporting coursework for students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology. The Faculty and the University will also continue to expand cooperation programs to create more opportunities for students in learning, internships, and employment with partner enterprises.
