On the morning of April 18, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University organized a field trip for 65 students from the 23LG111 class to the SP-PSA International Container Port. This excursion aimed to provide students with a realistic view of the working environment in the logistics industry, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Additionally, it offered an opportunity for students to network with businesses and explore internship and employment opportunities for their future careers.
The itinerary of the trip was carefully organized. The students were picked up at 6:00 AM at Gate 1 of Lạc Hồng University and transported to the SP-PSA International Container Port. Upon arrival, they participated in an introduction to the port and visited various operational areas. Throughout the visit, students had the chance to interact directly with port experts, where their questions about operational procedures, technologies in use, and career opportunities in the logistics industry were thoroughly addressed. These discussions not only broadened students' knowledge but also motivated them in shaping their future career paths.
The visit concluded at 11:00 AM with the presentation of souvenir gifts and a group photo. The representative of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University expressed sincere gratitude to the Board of Directors and all staff members of the SP-PSA International Container Port for facilitating the visit and ensuring its success. The faculty also expressed a desire to maintain a long-term partnership between the university and the business sector.
This is a regular activity organized to provide students with real-world opportunities, allowing them to engage directly with a professional working environment and gain deeper insights into the logistics industry. This activity not only gave students from 23LG111 a practical perspective on the field but also enhanced their knowledge and skills necessary for their future careers. It was a valuable opportunity for students to gain a clearer understanding of operational procedures at ports and in supply chains, thus better preparing them for their post-graduation careers.
